Alana's 2nd Annual Air Conditioning & BBQ Extravaganza

Once again, this year, I am hosting a "So You Didn't Go To Pennsic" Party aka: "The Air Conditioning & BBQ Extravaganza"

I'm inviting one and all from Blak Rose & OwlsHerst, and Silverylle too, if they wanna (pass the invite around!). Feel free to bring a dish, I'll supply the meat (hamburgs & hotdogs) and buns, and a case or two of beer. Paper goods. House & AC. Macaroni Salad. Anything you want to drink especial (soda or tea wise), you'll have to bring, as I don't drink either soda or tea, sorry. Please bring a pot-luck dish to share, or some chips or something.

Bring your current work-in-progress to share. We can toss in First Knight, or Monty Python or something equally silly in the background if we're indoors. If it's nice we can be outside under the shade of my big ol' tree. I'll have bean-bag toss, and bring bocce if anyone has it!

Post here to co-ordinate, and let me know how many to expect. Also, select your preference as to Date in the poll. Please pick as many as work for you, and I'll pick the date that has the most votes.

Alistair and I will not be attending Pennsic this year, so we may be interested in coming, but right now I don't want to pick a date. Alistair and I are trying to make a date in August to visit his Best Friend who lives in Maryland. Once things get finalized, I'll let you know.

If we do attend your Extravaganza, we can bring both Bocce and Kubb (Viking lawn game) AND party games.

It is with great regret that I have to announce that I won't be able to do the picnic this year. It's a confluence of doing the walk on Saturday the 7th, and then going up-country for a parade my Uncle is driving one of his cars in, so that pretty much scotchs that whole weekend, and I need to finish painting my bedroom, so that's going to take the next weekend.

Sorry, folks. Mundane life overcomes.

I'll be at the North American Science Fcition COnvention from 8/8-8/8 and leaving for Pennsic on 8/9.

But I'll be thinking of my friends in Harrisburg. So whenever you do have it, I'll be there in spirit. Which may be better, since my spirit doesn't eat that much.
